This workshop will explore a process using systems and design thinking fused and an appreciative inquiry approach to create conditions for school communities to thrive. This includes strategies to map the larger system in which you are trying to effect change; build generative and collaborative conversations; and move from reactive problem solving to co-creating the future.

Attendees will receive instruction in a research-based method of question construction. Then they will take that knowledge and apply it using Google and ChatGPT to take the question to the next level of depth.

In this presentation, the audience will first be introduced to current developments in AI technology such as ChatGPT, which will lead to a reflection on the role of teachers, students, and the goals of school education.

This presentation invites you to rethink the story of digital technology, and to ponder how we came to build a global machine that eats childhood.
