Sr. Monika Horch has a degree in Anglo-Germanic Philology and Business. Graduated in the Leading Schools Program at High Tech High Graduate School of Education in San Diego, she has participated in the courses of the Institutes of the Potential for Human Development in Philadelphia, in Reggio Emilia in Italy, in Project Zero at Harvard, in the Key Learning Community in Indianapolis and in the National Center for Teaching Thinking (N.C, Univ. of Massachusetts). She has also participated in international conferences such as “Conference on Thinking” in Sweden, Ireland and Spain, at the Fourth World Conference on Visible Thinking in Amsterdam and many other events of educational professional development. She has presented in many conferences and courses sharing her experience, She has written articles in educational journals and is co-author of the books “Una experiencia a compartir. Las Inteligencias Múltiples en el Colegio Montserrat”, “Aprendizaje Inteligente” and “Aprender hoy y liderar mañana” (authored by Montserrat Del Pozo). Sr. Monika has been a teacher for more than 30 years. At Col·legi Montserrat she has been part of the leading team and the secondary school humanities teaching team. At present, she is part of the General Council of the Congregation of Missionary Daughters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, an international institution with schools in 10 countries in 5 continents.
