2026 Keynote Speaker

Stacy Stephens

Director, The International Educator

Director, The International Educator. Stacy began serving in international schools in 2001. From Kuwait to Argentina, India, China and Malaysia Stacy has developed a strong skill set related to system-wide thinking, planning, and implementation. She has served as a Director of Learning for the past decade at the American School of New Delhi and at the International School of Beijing and the International School of Kuala Lumpur she also took the lead on Strategic Planning and implementation. She has a masters in Educational Leadership and substantial training and commitment to facilitative decision-making and leadership processes. She calls the West Coast of the US home and is happy anywhere in Washington, Oregon, or California where all of her family and friends live.

This session will explore the future of librarianship, focusing on how AI is reshaping our responsibilities, the new skills required to navigate this landscape, and strategies for integrating these skills into our schools.

Advocacy in Action: Success Stories from My Library

In this presentation, I will share how our library has effectively engaged the community through targeted craft workshops, particularly during significant cultural festivals such as Christmas, Chinese New Year, and Mother’s Day, etc.

History

21CLHK since 2009 has had a long association with the library community, especially in international schools in Asia Pacific. Since 2018 we have hosted a focused library event as a pre-conference to the face-to-face conference, and since 2021 as a hybrid event alongside the online 21CLHK event.
