Cross-Curricular School-Wide Programming Featuring the SIS Primary Libraries

New cross-curricular school-wide programming is taking place this year at Shekou International School. The initiatives are being planned by the Wellness Committee, with an emphasis on Social Emotional Learning (SEL). As part of this work, the SIS Primary Libraries are aligning and extending (our two school goals) our role in this programming by supporting the Wellness Weeks initiatives. Rather than just “read a book” or “create a book display” in support, we are actively creating activities, student experiences and resources that elevate student learning. This programming will take place during Global Goals Week, International Week, Women’s History Week, and Earth Week, to name just a few of the Wellness Weeks that are already planned. Join in as we discuss how the Library can make an impact on whole-school cross-curricular programming!
