In this presentation, I would like to share some of our STEAM projects in both elementary and middle schools to indicate how we integrate the STEAM education across the curriculum with the applicable transdisciplinary themes and create opportunities for our students to deliver innovative student-driven outcomes.

Project Lit Community began as an American based grassroots reading initiative that gets diverse books in the hands of students. The selected Project Lit titles tackle current social issues and ignite meaningful discussions with students. Project Lit can be used as a model for developing relationships with our students and promoting diversity and empathy within our school communities and beyond.

In my presentation, I will show examples of effective tutorial use in combination with classroom instruction, as well as tips on how to get started, update, and maintain tutorials.

This Executive Design Lab experience will meet you where you are and help you accelerate your Deeper Learning practices. We will start with your current successes, add exemplars from our community, and incubate actionable practices and strategies. Leveraging this strong network of DL educators, we will work with each other to design powerful learning for a generation of young people who are shaping the future.
