Jeff Dungan

Jeff Dungan is an Apple Distinguished Educator and currently serves as the ES Technology Coach at Shanghai American School-Puxi Campus. Jeff holds an M.Ed. from the University of Michigan, a Masters Certificate in Instructional Design from San Diego State University and is currently wading though his Doctorate, studying Instructional Technologies and Distance Education at Nova Southeastern University.

Jeff’s research interests include opinion leadership and its role in the diffusion of new technologies in K-12 education and the effect of instructional technology on instructional efficiency. Jeff has presented internationally throughout Asia and the United States on topics including technology driven formative assessment, using social media to diffuse educational innovations within schools, and leveraging technology within the Readers and Writers Workshop model. When not sitting in front of a screen Jeff is a self-diagnosed wind and water addict and an avid runner. Jeff can be found online on twitter at @jdungan.
