Participants will explore the fundamental components of 5+1, and leave with an understanding of how they might apply the model at their own school, including tailoring it to their own needs.

This immersive, gamified workshop places educators inside a fictional “AI Lab” where they must solve a series of interactive puzzles to "escape."

In this workshop, I'll show you how we gave our student Library Monitors real power, and how they transformed our library into a vibrant hub of writing, publishing, and community outreach.

Like everything in our lives, education is changing, and it seems to be doing so at an accelerating rate. Online, flipped, blended, hybrid, personalised, AI, PISA, everyone seems to have an answer of some kind.

This workshop will share a practical, manageable strategy for using GenAI to augment writing instruction in a way that can assist students in their developing writing skills, while also emphasizing the need for robust AI literacy skills that keep "humans in the loop".
