As an early career researcher and practitioner, I would like to share my findings of a Hong Kong-based published study with educators on the impact of COVID-19 on children with special educational needs and how the pandemic posed challenges for vulnerable learners and also some of the benefits for a minority of children with technology-based learning.
I want to share some parts of my PhD research, such as listening to children's voices throughout the day, documenting children's learning in different types of documentation, and reflecting on daily documentation with children to support their critical thinking skills.
The presentation will present 6 use cases of EdTech being deployed across LMICs, including the Philippines, and spotlight a number of EdTech initiatives in countries including India, Indonesia, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
