Kasson is honoured to serve the HKA community as Head of School. He believes that students learn best when they feel a strong sense of belonging, make meaningful choices about their learning, connect across cultures and perspectives, and experience just the right balance of challenge and support. He is an active member and frequent presenter for the Association of China and Mongolia International Schools (ACAMIS) and East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS), and an Evaluation Leader for the Council of International Schools (CIS). He has been published in various educational journals and his voice can be heard as a regular contributor on a variety of educational podcasts focusing on school culture, instructional design, and artificial intelligence.
