Founder - Chief Wellbeing Officer (CWO), The Wellbeing Farmer
Jessica Taylor is a Systems-Informed Wellbeing strategist, consultant, practitioner, curriculum writer, and researcher with expertise across the fields of education, wellbeing, and systems science. Jessica is the Founder and CEO of ThriveWell Co and The Wellbeing Farmer where she supports schools, organisations, and communities to cultivate a compassionate system of wellbeing which better creates conditions for all in the system to thrive. Jessica has collaborated with schools, organizations, and governments globally, including the UAE Prime Minister’s Office and the Singapore Ministry of Education. While working for the Geelong Cats Australian Football League (AFL), Jessica helped build knowledge and application of mental health and wellbeing initiatives at the player, organization, and community levels. As a Senior Executive in the role of Director of Wellbeing, she led the strategic development of a systems-wide wellbeing approach for over two thousand people. Currently part of the sessional teaching team at the University of Melbourne, Jessica contributes to the Master of Education program. She has co-authored several publications and book chapters, including Systems Informed Positive Psychology and Wellbeing Literacy as an Emancipatory and Transformative Capability. Jessica is a Doctorate candidate with the Centre of Wellbeing Science at the University of Melbourne where her research seeks to reframe responsibility for wellbeing. She is passionate about helping people understand the interdependent nature of well-being and the role that responsibility can play in cultivating conditions for all to flourish and thrive. Jessica is a regenerative farmer in Australia, raises orphan lambs, and enjoys the lessons that nature and the farm can offer in supporting a deeper and more nuanced wisdom and understanding of wellbeing that elevates her work and partnerships in wellbeing.
