Tammy Musiowsky-Borneman is an elementary teacher at heart, an ASCD author and Professional Learning Facilitator. She has experience teaching and leading in Singapore, New York City, and Edmonton, Canada. Selected as an ASCD Emerging Leader in 2014, she is an active member of ASCD. Tammy co-created the ASCD Emerging Leaders Alumni Affiliate and is the Past-President of the organization. She and C.Y. Arnold co-authored the ASCD book, The Minimalist Teacher, and has also written several guest blogs for ASCD Inservice, Express, EdWeek Teacher blog, and more on topics such as creating cultures of learning, student engagement, inclusivity, and student agency.
