With 25 years of teaching experience, my vision as an educator is to rethink what education should look like. Schools should be inquiry-minded, concept-based, and have a student-first curriculum approach. In my teaching experience, I have found that learning occurs when students are actively engaged in exploring big ideas, collaborating to solve real-world problems, and elevating critical thinking skills with spider-web discussions.

On a personal level, I am a father of 2 wonderful boys who keep me active and up to date with the latest trends. I enjoy working out, reading a good book, and having a good cup of coffee. As an educator, I am passionate about sharing my experience and willing to mentor / coach new teachers and help navigate a changing educational landscape.
