Wenyi Chu has extensive teaching experience in Shanghai, Macau, Singapore, and the USA, instructing Chinese to both native and non-native speakers at middle school, high school, and university levels. She has led cultural experiential learning and language immersion programs across Southeast Asia. Wenyi has also played a key role in teacher training for the UVa-in-Shanghai Chinese language immersion programs, developed the curriculum for the youth English summer camp at the University of Macau, and conducted workshops on adapting Chinese educators to the US teaching environment.

Currently serving as a Chinese language and literature instructor, IB Theory of Knowledge teacher, and IBCP Core Coordinator, Wenyi focuses on the adaptation process of learners from non-English speaking backgrounds and the development of their linguistic and cultural awareness within educational settings.
