Tania Mansfield

Assistant Principal / Curriculum Coordinator, American International School of Guangzhou

Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of teaching, mentoring, & coaching learners from the ages of 3 through to adult learners. I have taught in state schools in NZ, & international schools in Hong Kong, China, Middle East, Vietnam & Thailand. I have been involved in Teacher training, coaching & mentoring throughout the Asia Pacific region & have been an IBEN for 18 years.

I am a lifelong learner – always looking for ways to develop my craft – be it in leadership, coaching or teaching. My love & commitment to education is reflected in my drive to learn. Jim Collins wrote about going from ‘good to great’ which drives me to continually strive to be the best educator I can be in order to support not only my community, but our learners. I am an active networker, which has provided a rich resource & connections for research & current practices.

Currently my leadershp goal is in supporting others – specifically through a lens of Health and Wellbeing for our women and girls in our school communities.
