Marianne Dark has over two decades of experience as an educator in the UK, Italy and Malaysia. She has taught English to both native and non-native speakers of all ages in a variety of contexts, including secondary schools, corporate settings and private institutions. She has been involved in teacher development and training professionals for over ten years and has presented at numerous conferences internationally.

Currently the Head of EAL (Secondary) at Nexus International School Malaysia, Marianne is particularly interested in teaching language through literature and supporting the social and emotional well-being of EAL learners.
