Marcus Kroese
Marcus Kroese is a dedicated member of the Hong Kong International School (HKIS) community, where he has been teaching Religious Education in the Middle School for the past 10 years. Concurrently serving as the Student Life Leader, Marcus oversees the Pastoral Care Group and student leadership opportunities, passionately working to enhance the overall student experience.
In his role, Marcus ensures that all 80 middle school teachers receive the support and guidance they need to connect with and help students thrive. He develops and implements a responsive curriculum tailored to the unique needs of middle school students, promoting their emotional, social, and academic well-being. Marcus also leads initiatives to create an inclusive school culture and organizes events and activities that foster a sense of community and belonging among students.
Marcus is committed to promoting student leadership by developing and implementing multiple leadership programs that are inclusive of the entire student body. His mentorship helps students cultivate essential skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Passionate about student empowerment and transformation, Marcus is dedicated to creating a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive school environment where every student can truly thrive.
