
Lauren White
Lauren joined the Central Insights Unit as an Insights Analyst in April 2023. Here, she is responsible for supporting research as well as developing and disseminating insights on the role of digital technologies in sustainable development in low- and middle-income countries.
Prior to joining the Central Insights Unit, she worked in the Mobile for Humanitarian Innovation programme as Operations Coordinator. Lauren is also a volunteer researcher and writer at Restless Beings, a human rights organisation. Focusing on South Asia, she works towards amplifying the voices of marginalised communities in the region, including tracking human rights abuses and disseminating information about such situations to the public.
Lauren holds an MA in Conflict, Displacement and Human Security from the University of East London and a BSc in Psychology from Newcastle University.
