Kirk began his teaching career in rural Africa training local Science teachers how to create innovative and engaging lessons without access to resources or even electricity. While the circumstances of his schools have changed greatly over the years, his core philosophy remains the same – use what you have around you to make new and exciting ways of learning.

Currently, Kirk focuses on bringing primary education into the 21st century by leveraging new technologies as well as rethinking the way we teach and assess our students.
