Joseph Strzempka

Doctoral Candidate, Northeastern University

Joseph Strzempka is currently a doctoral candidate at Northeastern University and is examining how school-based leadership teams enact education reforms in public and private schools in Mainland China. Since 2015, Joseph has been based in Shenzhen, China where he has held several leadership and advisory roles with Whittle School & Studios and the Shenzhen Nanshan Education Bureau. This work included launching professional learning initiatives, curriculum development, policy consultation, creating community and international partnerships, and establishing monitoring and evaluation criteria for schools.
