Dave began his outdoor learning career in the UK but truly honed his craft in Hong Kong, which he now proudly calls home. Now based at ICHK Secondary, Dave leads Outdoor and Experiential Learning, supporting teachers to bring their lessons out of the classroom and to deepen students’ understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them. Throughout his career, he has always valued the rich experiences outdoor learning offers and the opportunity to help young people discover their full potential.

Having recently completed a Master’s in Outdoor Education, he now brings his expertise to the broader community as a co-founder of the Hong Kong Outdoor Learning Association. A not-for-profit professional body dedicated to developing a high-quality, safer outdoor learning sector for the region.
