Amber Kotcher

PRAXIS Coordinator, ISKL

Amber Kotcher is the Program Coordinator for PRAXIS, ISKL’s innovative Grade 9 learning program which reimagines the school experience and anchors learning in complex, real-world challenges. The program fosters creative exploration, effective collaboration, and active problem-solving through a differentiated and flexible thinking space that enables students to reflect deeply and act with agency and empathy to make a positive difference in our world.
Amber holds a B.A. in Art Education K-12, National Board Certification, and a Masters in Education Leadership. She has taught Art and Design K-12 in the USA, South Korea, Vietnam, and Israel for the past 15 years. Along with teaching, Amber has held various leadership roles in schools and is an advocate for student leadership, student voice, and student agency in learning in high schools.
