The D&I Experience is a unique educational program. We have sought to build the opportunity for students to participate in design and innovation experiences with gamification to drive engagement and interest.
In our program, students gain access to a vast amount of skills and knowledge through design, production, and technology. Specific areas include Graphic Design, 3D Modeling, Coding, Material Design, Robotics, Game Design, Media Production, Digital Citizenship, and much more.
We seek to have students develop an entrepreneurial mindset by using the design thinking process to develop products through project-based learning. All of this is anchored and aligned in 21st-century skills such as collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity.
We like to refer to this program as an “experience” instead of “class” as the focus is not on grades and assignments. We implement a personalized learning experience where students can work at their own pace.
