The environments we inhabit, whether at home, at work, at school or online influence our behavior as humans. Spaces we frequent are not only shaped by us, but shape us as living beings. How can we harness the potential power of learning environments to spark curiosity, learning and wellbeing? In this session, we will take a peek into theories of place and space, explore the underpinnings of the Reggio Emilia Approach to learning environment design, and develop a reference point for creating and co-creating inviting micro-environments in our own classrooms and schools. Please bring a photo of your current learning environment to the session for sharing and grounding, and get ready to be inspired!
