Our digital technology narratives are threadbare, and no longer convey any genuine meaning about the way we use devices. We were promised a democratising techno-utopia in which the market sifted out the truth and where people were kind to each other. Instead we go FOMO, Brexit, Trump, trolls, misogyny and xenophobia.
This talk offers participants an alternative narrative, opening up the possibility of some very different conversations about technology, children and life. It invites schools to re-imagine their role in the mess that is big tech.
