What does a classroom look like in a distance learning environment? Patrick Goertz (2015) discussed the 10 signs of a 21st century classroom, which is a good read for educators to reflect on their teaching at this challenging time. One of the signs is technology integration, which involves more than just use of technology, but students using technology to achieve goals in a different way that was impossible before. Meanwhile, there are many factors teachers need to consider when moving into distance learning and technology integration. Network issues, training for students and teachers equipment, social emotional learning needs. In this presentation, I will introduce and demonstrate other alternatives such as Microsoft Office 365, Apple Education Application, Book Creator, EdPuzzle, and SeeSaw to facilitate Chinese learning and teaching in a distance learning environment.
