This presentation will provide an opportunity to find out more about how we moved from an initial idea to improve writing in our school to opening what we have called the TES Writers’ Hub. I would like to share the story of our journey and how we made philosophical, research-driven decisions and the practicalities of opening a new learning space in a well-established school. The overall aim of the session will be to offer suggestions to educators about opening writing centres in their schools and open a discussion to see how we could make it even better.
