In response to the urgent need to move beyond outdated subject silos and assessment models, a growing global network of secondary schools is demonstrating what is possible when the core academic model is intentionally designed for transferable skill development. This session shares how schools are implementing the Minerva Baccalaureate (MBacc), a K–12 model developed by the founders of Minerva University, consistently ranked the world’s most innovative university. The presentation showcases an interdisciplinary curriculum, competency-based assessment, and active learning pedagogy that are driving exceptional student outcomes while reducing the change-management burden for teachers and school leaders. Attendees will gain practical insight into how this fully reimagined academic model maintains rigor and global alignment while enabling meaningful systemic change for schools to become future ready.
