Illustration study empowers students to tell their stories the way they see them in their mind. Based on the illustration work of Katie Wood Ray and Sylvia Duckworth, teachers will learn how to use an illustration study to teach young writers that their pictures hold meaning. Participants will gain insight and practical knowledge to implement their own illustration study in their classroom.
