The pandemic has been a huge learning curve for teachers as they have struggled to come to grips with how to transfer traditional means of delivery to online and hybrid learning modes. What we have fast come to realise is that learning online can have significant impacts on the level of student engagement, interaction and retention of learning. This presentation looks at strategies that can be effective when planning online and hybrid lessons, to improve student engagement and prevent cognitive overload.
