In the last two years, the future of teaching + learning where delivery models are digital + distributed, considerations of wellbeing are at the forefront, student agency + autonomy are predominant, and the emphasis on the need for skills like creativity, adaptability, resiliency, and collaboration are paramount quickly accelerated to become our present. This is no longer a future to only plan for but a future to take immediate action on. In order to do so, what key issues + insights must schools consider? How might schools take action and design for this future now?
This session will weave together insights from research on the future of work + skills, wellbeing, student-centered pedagogies, and tech-augmented experiences to give participants a deeper understanding of these insights, why they are important, spotlight actionable steps and emphasize the pivotal role space plays in nurturing these learning experiences.
