Design Thinking is mostly used to create and define ideas for students but, it can also be a powerful way to solve real life problems. Using a Design Thinking Cycle to solve local problems in schools is an effective method to find innovative solutions to any problem. Are your tech coaches feeling overworked? Could the way parents pick up their children be improved? Is student engagement low? No problem is a bad problem as long as long as you identify it and if you work it through a design process you will be able to find the solution that suits your needs.
In this session, Carlos and Luke will take your identified problem and run you through a Design Thinking Cycle to help you create solutions that can effectively be implemented and pitched. Participants will have a chance to work collaboratively, begin to design solutions tailored for their specific needs and help each-other by providing feedback using their own perspectives. How could we come up with solutions at your school? Come see us!
