This session explores the notion of deeper learning and how to design rich learning experiences for all learners. It unpacks researched data on the design of deep, rich, impactful learning within the everyday rhythms of the classroom, as well as providing a workflow to create a shared language of learning that empowers teaching teams to flourish. The session is aimed at educators and school leaders looking for a framework to interrogate their own assumptions, and to be able to ideate and produce an actionable plan that works for their school’s specific context. It will explore ways to leverage technology in designing, planning, teaching and reflecting learning. Participants will rethink old paradigms and consider what it will take to design learning that promotes deeper, more engaging experiences for all learners. Participants will walk away with strategies to create learning and teaching with endless possibilities, frameworks for teams to dig deep into the concepts that are most pertinent to them, and personalised, innovative tools to capture rich professional discussions.
