Daily Doses of Digital Literacy to Spark Reading, Writing, Thinking!

Education Technology Innovation in Education Pedagogy & Assessment Literacy & New Media
March 2024 - 21CLHK

How do we inspire students to keep thinking? We engage them in daily doses of digital literacy by teaching them the skills they need to locate, access, read, and create digital content. All learners need explicit instruction on how to use devices as tools for thinking. In this workshop, we’ll unpack the nuances of digital reading and writing and help educators adapt and adopt instructional practices to teach students the new skills they need to interact with information. This jam-packed session will provide strategies to help you plan interactive lessons, differentiate with resources, and excite students with ownership and purpose.
