School leaders are navigating unprecedented levels of change as technology, AI, and innovation reshape education. Yet the real challenge isn’t adopting new tools — it’s leading change that is intentional, meaningful, and sustainable. Drawing on lessons from years of technology and innovation integration, this session explores what successful change teaches us about leadership more broadly. Using insights from Rogers, Kotter, Elmore, and Grenny, participants will examine how change spreads, the leadership actions that matter most, how capacity must match expectations, and why behaviour ultimately determines whether change sticks. Leaders will leave with practical, transferable strategies for guiding purposeful change across their schools.
