A Human-Centred Approach to AI Literacy in the K-12 Classroom

Education Technology Innovation in Education
March 2024 - 21CLHK

In this workshop we will explore purposeful integration of AI literacy across K-12, aiming to empower students to play an active role in shaping a future where humanity stays at the forefront.
We will consider ethics, privacy and digital citizenship, equipping our students with the tools to navigate the digital age while upholding core values of unity, diversity, and sustainability.
Throughout the session, I will share examples of how artificial intelligence has been harnessed to promote critical thinking, inspire creativity and foster inclusion.
The workshop will end with an opportunity to connect so we can continue to work together to ensure that technology becomes a force that enhances, rather than detracts from, the essence of what it means to be human.
