Rob Carmichael

Outdoor Experiential Education, United World College Thailand

Hailing from Northern Ireland, Rob has both studied and worked within the field of education and outdoor education for the past 20 years. With a strong background in a number of outdoor activity disciplines Rob has a wealth of experience in leading participants of all ages and abilities in a variety of challenging environments, including multi-day expeditions.

Rob has worked in a number of countries including the UK, USA, China, Korea and now Thailand where his Role as Director of Outdoor Education has him lead a Nursery – Grade 12 outdoor program and overseeing the development of the schools new bespoke Outdoor Education Centre.
