An Instructional Coach provides instructional support to grow teaching practices in order to improve student learning. It’s not about what’s wrong; it’s about what’s next! Instructional coaching is a non-evaluative, positive, motivational partnership in which the coach learns alongside teachers. Key attributes of a coaching model are being proactive, collaborative, reflective, and student-centered.
