Owen Lipsett teaches Upper School English at Taipei American School where he has taught International Baccalaurate and Advanced Placement Literature courses for over a decade. In addition to serving as an AP Literature & Composition exam reader, Owen facilitates in-house professional learning on AI implementation in humanities education, focusing on digital literacy, authentic assessment, and emerging technology in the classroom. His teaching and curriculum work emphasize critical theory, inclusive texts, and backward design. Owen holds an M.A. in English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and an M.A./B.A. from Trinity College, Dublin.
