Mengyao Wang is the Head of Bilingual (Chinese) at SJI International School, bringing extensive experience in the design, implementation, and leadership of bilingual programmes across international school contexts. She specialises in Chinese–English bilingual education, curriculum alignment, and pedagogical practices that support language development, cultural identity, and academic achievement. Mengyao is currently pursuing a PhD focused on bilingual education, with research centred on effective bilingual programme models, language acquisition, and student outcomes in multilingual learning environments. Her work bridges theory and practice, ensuring that research-informed strategies meaningfully enhance classroom instruction and programme design. She is passionate about supporting teachers, partnering with families, and advancing high-quality bilingual education through reflective leadership and evidence-based practice.
