Kerry Gittins is a writer, musician, traveler and teacher librarian from Newcastle, Australia. She has a Bachelor of Music Education and a Masters in Education (Teacher Librarianship). Kerry has been teaching for over 35 years throughout the Pacific, Asia, Europe as well as back home in Australia. She has been involved in community service projects in every school where she has worked and is passionate about using literature to help raise awareness of current issues.
