Duncan FitzGerald joined HKIS in 2022 as the Upper Primary Associate Principal. Before that, he was the Head of Upper Primary (Grades 2-5) at the International School Hannover Region (ISHR) in Germany, a position he held since 2019. Over his career, Duncan spent five years at the American International School Guangzhou (AISG); and served as the Co-chair of their WASC accreditation. Duncan taught Grade 2, 3, and 4 students at three schools in Australia and also served a year as an acting Assistant Principal at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School. Duncan holds a Master of Education from Southern Cross University, a Bachelor’s of Education (Primary) from Griffith University, and a Bachelor’s of Business Management (Marketing) from the University of Queensland.
