Daniel (Dan) has 10+ years of international teaching experience in Mainland China, Japan and Macau, designing innovative, challenging and engaging learning experiences for multi-lingual learners. After completing a 4 year BA QTS in Primary Teaching and Disability studies from Liverpool Hope University, Dan worked in SEBD settings in the UK, before making his move abroad to teach in both international and bi-lingual settings. Demonstrating his commitment to engaging all learners, Dan obtained further post-graduate qualifications in Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties from the University of Birmingham, UK, then became a Learning that Transfers Endorsed Educator in 2021. Focusing on conceptual transfer, Dan now develops innovative reading intervention programs which ensure ESL learners are accessing grade-appropriate content. Alongside his work as an educator, he also works as a QTS mentor, supporting aspiring teachers to complete their QTS programs from the UK.
