Chialing Tsai

MSHS Mandarin Teacher, The American School

My name is Chialing Tsai, and I am from Taiwan. I graduated from National Tsing Hua University and the M.Ed. program at Indiana University. I have over five years of international teaching experience across China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. My passion lies in language teaching, curriculum design, and the integration of educational technology to enhance learning outcomes. Throughout my career, I have primarily taught elementary school students, fostering a dynamic and engaging classroom environment that supports language acquisition and cultural appreciation.

This year marks a professional transition as I now teach Mandarin as a world language to middle and high school students in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, broadening my instructional scope and deepening my commitment to promoting Mandarin proficiency.
I am dedicated to creating innovative and effective learning experiences through thoughtful curriculum design and the strategic use of technology. My goal is to inspire students to become confident language learners prepared to engage in a global community. This proposal reflects my ongoing commitment to advancing language education and supporting fellow educators in integrating best practices within their teaching contexts.
