Amanda Mitchell
Amanda designs and implements innovative, engaging, rigorous and connected learning experiences at Pioneer Academics. Passionate about creating meaningful academic experiences that build student agency and purpose, Amanda has built her career in innovative education. Her work at Pioneer focuses on creating a structured mentorship and community experience that allows all scholars to develop their authentic interests, expand their perspectives, and meet Pioneer’s rigorous academic standards.
She spent two formative years in rural China as a teaching fellow through Teach for China teaching third grade English. Amanda loves reading picture books to kids and is a regular reading club volunteer at the Hong Kong Refugee Union.
