Innovation in Education
March 2026 - 21CLHK
We know how essential regular writing practice and Assessment For and As Learning are for developing student writing skills. We know how diverse English language classrooms present challenges for teachers as they try to meet their students’ needs. And of course, we are learning how increasingly effective GenAI is in providing fast, scalable, and individualized feedback in conversational interactions with users. This workshop will share a practical, manageable strategy for using GenAI to augment writing instruction in a way that can assist students in their developing writing skills, while also emphasizing the need for robust AI literacy skills that keep “humans in the loop”.
