Design & Innovation Incubator is a Year 9 elective that sees students designing products through an open-ended, project-based learning approach utilising all of the design and manufacturing tools of our Makerspace at their disposal. This presentation will delve into the best practices for this type of course, including skill-building, design process, mentorship, tools & equipment, while also highlighting some of the stories and product outcomes from our flagship design course at CIS.
