How can school libraries evolve from quiet repositories of books into dynamic hubs of cultural creation? As the librarian at an all-through international school in Hong Kong, I found my answer not only within the stacks but behind the microphone. In this session, I will share the story of my podcast, Hong Kong Lit Club, and demonstrate how the simple model of podcasting can be a powerful tool for educators. We will explore how this medium can help amplify local voices, foster critical multimodal literacy, and provide a student-centred project template that brings curriculum to life. Attendees will leave with a practical framework for using podcasting to engage students, celebrate local culture, and transform the library into the heart of the school’s creative and intellectual community.
