Understanding Shakespeare is a hurdle many students and teachers encounter. Frequently, the question is posed, “Why must we study Shakespeare?” Studying Shakespeare has many real-world practical applications. It improves one’s ability to process and learn languages, build critical thinking, and enable students to see archetypal patterns in literature. Those educators who do teach Shakespearean literature still find it difficult to build interest in teaching Shakespeare. This session will equip educators with practical AI tools (ChatGPT, Brisk, Adobe Express) and lessons that will enable them to leverage AI to make Shakespeare as relevant today as he was in the 16th century. All activities are adaptable to any Shakespearean play.
