It is no exaggeration to say that the last 18 months have been challenging generally for all of society, and specifically for schools. The events of the pandemic have left no illusions about inequalities and imbalances that exist in our world. Given this context, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are more relevant and urgent than ever. The students in our schools today will need to play a role in ensuring we are on a path to tackling these important goals. A key part of this is having them know they are part of the solution and are of service. As librarians how do we do our part to bring the SDGs into the heart of the school and provide opportunities for students to serve and orient their lives to service?
