Eva believes that all students have the qualities to succeed already within them – it’s just a matter of giving them the opportunity to discover where they can apply themselves and find confidence. Eva found her calling in Education in 2012 when she decided to leave her job at a women’s magazine in Toronto, Canada, to join the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme to teach English at various high schools in rural Japan. Blending her experience in multimedia and Education, she later returned to Hong Kong to pursue a Master of Education at the University of Hong Kong followed by a PGCE with the University of Sunderland to explore how to bring authentic learning into the classroom. As the Director of Education at BSD, Eva works closely with team members across the business to provide engaging opportunities for students to learn through practical and sustainable curricular experiences to prepare them to be future-ready. Outside of BSD, Eva is a Co-Active Coach.
